The paradox is that a Soul chooses its own destructive programs. And the wiser and more experienced it is, the more difficult tasks it will take for itself, and place itself in incredibly difficult conditions of play on this planet. Why? Because it has the potential to overcome those difficulties. This is the way this middle world works, our planet is the forge of Souls, this is where the Spirit is tempered.
But it is a mistake to think that our life is about endlessly overcoming the incredible hardships of life. Someone takes the challenge of growing up and becoming a strong-willed person from very soft living conditions, from permissiveness, spoiledness, etc. And someone on the contrary, will go to the point of learning to let go of control, rigidity, learning to live in the now trendy lightness. For both the former and the latter, they will simply not have it, they will need to overcome themselves, their beliefs, generic patterns of behavior, break the vicious circle of destructiveness and learn to build a new world for themselves. It is an incredibly uncomfortable path, but a very grateful one.
I'd like to add a couple of words about young souls. Of course it is very important for young souls to be cared for by more mature souls in the first time, that is why they often get into their families (sometimes as children, sometimes as parents, sometimes they are born as siblings). What is this done for? So that the young soul follows the path of development and not degradation. Wise experienced souls take on these obligations, trying to show through their example "how it should be done". Because the middle world is a world of dualities, and there will always be many temptations in it.
Family is the basis for the growth of any soul. The Kin is a living organism, which has its own illnesses inside. And every soul getting inside this organism tries to do everything possible for the Kin to grow and develop. Among other things, "negative characters" do this, showing by their example "how it should not be done". There are a lot of variants! And it's always a very exciting process. It is not always young souls, but often even mature souls who can withstand public censure and continue to live and fulfill their tasks.
Not always everything goes smoothly, of course. Many tasks remain unresolved so that " the game was not too easy" and there was a margin for future growth, as stagnation always leads to degradation in the future. And in some periods of history, these tasks become more numerous, as the times of "passing the exam" come. Now we are living through just such a time. But the session does not last forever, soon a new round will begin and we now need to have time to show what we have learned.
