What is this ritual for?
In Altai (Siberian) shamanism, the future is not fixed. From the present moment, many possible paths — called “time tracks” — exist. Most people stay on the same track out of habit and inertia. To shift onto a different, more desirable track, you need additional power and a strong impulse.
This ritual helps you create a living connection with the future in which you have already achieved what you desire. From that future self, you receive an energetic “anchor” that gently and continuously guides you toward choosing that path in everyday life.

How the ritual works
- You enter a dream state / shamanic journey.
- From the present moment, you see many different time tracks.
- You choose the track where you have already successfully realized what is important to you (health, a partner, higher income, children, a good job, etc.).
- You walk along this track into the future (one year, two years, or as long as it takes to reach the goal).
- You meet your future self — already successful, strong, and full of energy.
- You receive a gift from your future self (a stone, an amulet, a notebook, or any object connected with that successful energy).
- You thank your future self, perhaps hug or shake hands.
- You return to the present, take the gift, and place it in the area of your heart.
- The gift dissolves and becomes pure energy that merges with you — this is the “anchor” connecting you to the chosen time track.
What is important after the ritual
Once the anchor is set, life begins to bring new opportunities and situations. They may appear the very next day or within a few weeks. The key is to stay attentive and observant: do not dismiss new offers, people, or chances. Listen to your intuition. These opportunities are often the “doors” into the new time track.
