- PREPARATION
Turn off your phone, tablet, computer and all the equipment that can distract you during the practice, hang a sign on the front door “I'm not home, phone unavailable”.
Put in earplugs and turn on relaxing music, light candles or incense, remove from sight everything that can remind you of business and everyday life, draw the curtains and turn off the lights.
If it is summer outside and you have the opportunity to go to a forest or deserted park, buy yourself a MEDITATION TENT (a tent without a tent), or as an alternative, use the first layer of a two-layer tent.
The forest will be the most suitable place for practicing, and the mesh tent will keep you away from ticks, flies and mosquitoes
Summary: prepare a quiet, clean, comfortable space for practicing.
- BODY WARM-UP
Start with body warm-up, knead the whole body with your fingertips from head to feet.
Then run your finger as if kneading from the groin area to the vertex in the middle of the body and then from the vertex to the tailbone thus clearing the channels.
- BREATHING
The best pose is definitely the lotus pose, but you can choose any position that is comfortable for you.
INHALE: done through the nose and try to do it in such a way that even you can not hear it, the breath is done slowly and eventually slows down.
As you inhale, the tip of your tongue touches your palate, your eyes are closed and pointing downwards. During the inhalation you mentally lift all the energy to the vertex
EXHALING: is done through the mouth a little making the lips a tube as if whistling, exhalation is as slow as the inhalation, on the exhalation all the accumulated tension let out with the exiting air.
- BLOCKING THOUGHTS BY WILLPOWER
During the practice you will inevitably be pestered by different thoughts about what you need to do tomorrow, where to go on the weekend, pop up “THE MOST GENIAL” ideas that you need to write down NOW during the practice!
For these 30-40 minutes you must be DYING to the world around you, you no longer have a body, and therefore no worldly affairs and thoughts, ignore and “spam” all the nonsense that pops into your head, no matter how important it may seem!
Your focus of attention is concentrated ONLY on breathing and on raising the energy from the tips of your toes to the top of your head. Do the breaths until all thoughts are gone.
Once you are completely relaxed, you can shift your attention to your inner world and begin to work with it.....
